Disney’s Planes and Helicopter Flight School Fly in Formation to Support Wildland Firefighters
The Disney Movie “Planes: Fire and Rescue” focuses on the wildland firefighting community. The support group Spouses and Partners of Wildland Firefighters is partnering with Disney and movie theaters around the country for private showings of the film with proceeds going to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Everyone is invited!
Guidance Aviation of Prescott, AZ has partnered with local benefit hosts Diane Schober Travis and Anessa Andrews by purchasing all 299 tickets to cover the Prescott theater costs and 148 tickets to cover the Sedona theater costs – assisting event hosts in raising funds for the Wildland Firefighting Foundation. All ticket sales will go directly to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. This is a national effort supporting firefighters throughout the country.
